She has worked with artists M.I.A., Kelela, Tink, Fatima Al Qadiri, Venus X, and is a member of the musical group NGUZUNGUZU (Fade to Mind). With filmmaker and frequent collaborator Wu Tsang, she’s scored Anthem, Duilian, Into a Space of Love, and One Emerging From a Point of View.

Baal & Mortimer is sonically exploring questions of resistance, autonomy and mimesis. The debut album Deixis was released on Bureau B in 2020, the EP The Torso Tapes on ITALIC in 2021 as well as the 7’’ And the Sky gave up the Dead for Kunsthalle Düsseldorf in the same year. After having attained an MA in aesthetics and philosophy, Baal & Mortimer currently lives in Berlin, researching the concrete potentialities between sound, image, body and speculation. Baal & Mortimer has worked with Black Merlin, Musiccargo and Rupert Clervaux and was the mentee of Laurel Halo in the Berlin Amplify program.

Dmitra and Soraya‘s live set bring bass heavy club tracks paired with infectious vocal hooks. New York and London sound systems were key influences to the now Berlin based artists. Expect to hear a mixture of four to the floor and breaks that will have people strutting, bouncing and quite possibly thrashing about. Dmitra and Soraya are the founders of platform and event series Kontinuum.

quest?onmarq is a New York native, (re)born in the rave. Amorphous and adaptable, quest?onmarq is a sonic and physical shapeshifter channeling sounds from all corners of the global underground. When guiding the vibration of the room, the ‘spiral effect’ takes place — a collective state of inhibitory submission by way of frequency manipulation often in the form of genre defiant DJ set performances that incorporate turntabilism, sharp technical prowess and their own productions and remixes. They can be heard monthly as a bi-monthly fixture on Paris’ arm of Rinse.FM as well as a monthly resident, producing audio-visual mixes on New York’s The Lot Radio.

Tapiwa Svosve is a Musician and Theorist. Svosve focuses on the state of improvisation and its potential to create and agitate energy in a multitude of contexts. A musical background that involved traveling early in life throughout Europe and Africa (primarily Switzerland and Zimbabwe), Svosve has a unique temperament ranging from extreme avant-gardism to free jazz and noise music. Thinking through silence, negative spaces, solo performance and the negotiations of the body and instruments, Svosve adjusts music and sound to train various physical and performative techniques. Svosve has also been an organizer in the experimental music scenes of Switzerland; using public spaces to find borders between commercial, theatrical and underground communities. He is invested with multidisciplinary practices – combining sound to theatre, painting, and historical praxis and currently lives in Zurich, Switzerland.
