Karla Black
22. June – 5. August 2012
Opening: 21. June 18:00

With Karla Black’s solo show, the Schinkel Pavillon turns into a giant walk-in vitrine. It is defined by a delicate yet extensive sculpture, which the Scottish artist has made out of cellophane, plaster powder, nail varnish and powder paint, starting from the central chandelier in the exhibition space. Visitors may walk around the glistening treasure, but have to content themselves with its observation from a safe distance.
