“When Doves Cry” presents photographer Spyros Rennt and music composer Billy Bultheel’s artistic encounter of the Bonjour Tristesse building in Berlin-Kreuzberg. For this part-exhibition, part-performance, curator Joel Mu takes viewers indoors via an apartment and upstairs onto the roof. This domestic space will be artistically inscribed by chance meetings, private (sex) parties, sleepwalking and a sonic light-house, all contained by a newly commissioned suite of counter tenor and tuba compositions, based on extracts from Monique Wittig’s 1973 novel, Les Corps Lesbien.
